Dear forum friends,

I recently purchased a Mamiya 7 and after it now arrived tried it directly out.

Despite all the great things about this camera, I was directly stopped in my enthusiasm as the frame lines of the view finder have been barely visible. A little bit on the right side but up, down and left almost nothing at all.
Also there is a second dotted line a little bit smaller but seems still too big / not right position for the 35mm lines if I compare it to the user manual.
As I wear glasses I know this is sometimes an extra difficulty but it never had been so extreme. I used Leica M and Leica II and III as well as Fuji GW690 and they were all fine with glasses.

Now I read in another forum by searching for a solution that this problem could go hand in hand with a general issue that the frame lines are not changed accordingly when changing lenses.

I noticed this before when I changed from 80mm to 150mm but assumed it was barely visible anyway, so did not realise that there was no change at all.

After getting used to the camera a little bit now and try again and again, I can see the frame lines a tiny bit better but it still crazy dim and no change together with lenses.

In the other forum was mentioned that this could be fixed from a good repair man and has something to do with a black lever inside the lens screw mount area. However when I push it there seems no change as well.

Any ideas or suggestions from you?

Thanks and best regards, Miguel
