i missed that bit of info...dam good place to startYou said the camera doesn't appear to have any foam in the channels?
TMLee...like you say, test with some more film. its a bugger when your lab isnt reliable. nowadays i process most of my own (unfortuately i have put some scratches myself on my negs--i have changed to using jobo reels instead of the white paterson reels and sometimes i dont get along with them) and if not then i use the pro-lab that i did many years ago. gone are the days when i would pick and choose which lab did the best work

I would inspect the camera again. Check the body near the hinge to see if there is any foam or even felt there.
Yes , near the hinge there's some felt strip...
Also, check the mirror box to see if there is a foam cushion.
Errr ,,, where is this ? Any pic for easy reference ?

Somewhat relieved now that I have shot some more rolls of film. Went to a different printshop. The results were all OK - no surprises at all. I am now inclined to believe the causes were twofold, poor processing by the first shop and I think my own mistake in causing the light leak ... (Very embarrassed ...
) I must have opened the door by mistake !
