Get a Pentax-M SMC 35mm f2.8 lens...you can't go wrong with a Pentax lens for a Pentax camera.
Pentax produced some of the best lenses around in their Takumar lens days and the later made lenses cannot be too far off that benchmark.

Further ideas: M42 to PK adaptor, then either Carl Zeiss Jena Flektogon 2.4/35 or Schneider Kreuznach C Curtagon 2,8/35 or Asahi SMC Takumar 2/35 or Voigtlaender Skoparex 2,8/35. Don't know much about the weight, though. My CZJ Flektogon isn't that leightweight, for sure.

I think the lens you're looking for is the Pentax 35mm f/3.5, which was made in both M42 screw mount and K-mount. It's one of the smallest and lightest 35mm SLR lenses ever made (around 150 grams). Here's a picture of mine with a film box for comparison:

I have not shot much with mine yet as it was full of dust when I bought it, but I just had Eric Hendrickson give it a CLA and am looking forward to shooting with it. However, the lens is reportedly very sharp stopped down a bit and, with only five elements, should have good microconstrast and "3D pop."

If 40mm is close enough, Pentax also makes some of the smallest (and nicest) 40mm lenses ever too. They make the 35mm above look big!

Pentax also made an unusual 30mm f/2.8.

Thank you all for the quick answers. How do the smc-m 35 2.8 and smc-m 35 3.5 compare with each other ? The price difference is sure not so big.

There is also the Pentax 35/2 which came in K, M, A, and FA versions. I think maybe each version is optically different.
I used to have the A version and it was an excellent lens.
The K series 35/3.5 is hard to beat other than it being slower and maybe more difficult to focus.

I think there's also a Zeiss ZK Distagon 35/2...??

I can tell you that the 35mm Pentax f2.0 FA lens is sharp:
