I got a leinik adapter in an ebay lot. It mounts to an m39 camera, but the other end is weird. It has a 4 "prong" mount like the m-mount. The m-lenses don't seem to fit well though. Is this for an slr? Does anyone know? I have seen this adapters for nikon -> ltm, but I don't think the nikon mount is 4 pronged.

Is this a novoflex adapter? Thats normally the way these are named. I have one tagged Leican which adapts Canon lenses to mount on LTM bodies. Pretty useful actually if you like to use wide angle lenses and do not mind zone focussing. Here is my IVSB with a canon 35mm f2.5 using the adapter. Looks pretty cool but I have not developed any film yet.

I just got one of these in an Adorama Ebay auction. It mates an old non auto Nikon slr lens to leica screw mount. I am using a Nikon 50mm F2 on a bessa l. As Peterm says it is manufactured in Germany by Novoflex. I haven't completed my first roll yet.
