I just wanted to post this because I am happy that I got to hang out with Yanick while he was in Bangkok and show him around......Kristian (Leicashot) introduced us to each other and we got along real good.........anyways, if any of you guys and gals are interested in reading a little bit about me and my photography, here is the link....

He picked the photos that he wanted to show, but I must say, he asked me first if I wanted to choose the photos that would be posted but I declined because it is his website after all and I wanted him to pick the photos that he likes........Yanick is a super cool guy and a very talented photographer and I had a great time with him in Bangkok......

and to top it off, Leicashot (Kristian) arrived in Bangkok tonight about an hour ago, so I am looking forward to hanging out with him and going out and taking some photos with him soon.......rangefinderforum is so awesome...

cheers, michael

Great work! Congratulations! I'd very much like to hear more about how you go about shooting in dangerous places and about that experience in East Oakland that taught you about it.

Thanks again for your great images.

Thanks a lot guys....I appreciate your nice comments.....

Hello Mabelsound, I am working on a website now....a very nice and generous member of rff.com is helping me with setting it up.....

Hello David_Manning, I have found secret/ illegal ways to get into the " no go" areas in Myanmar.....I have gotton caught almost every time and have been escorted by the police back to Yangon on buses....but I have my ways of going into these areas but I'd rather not discuss them on this thread....

As far as East Oakland goes, I went in with a local gang and was told specific instructions on where I could walk to and what I could photograph....it was very sketchy but I learned a lot doing that story....

Cheers , michael

This is definitely cool. I admire your work, Michael, and am also a regular follower of Yannick's blogs (both his current around the world blog and his previous blog on street photography in Paris), so how great is it that the two of you meet up! Great interview and photos!

Informative interview and some very nice photographs selected to go with the article. Look forward to viewing your web site when it is available.

May you enjoy good luck, health and spirits in your travels.
