Here is another man that is not quite right in the head.

If that is a private collection, it's way beyond GAS. It's right up there with Imelda's shoe locker!

Gotta be a collection, it looks like there is a kitchen table in the background of one of the shots. If it a store, it's unreal!

GAS knows no limits, neither country, race, nor creed. This man is truly our kin. :)

Yikes!! It's the store of no return!! You walk in and you'll not walk out with your wallet intact!

Now I know why some of the stuff I want is so hard to find.

Darn Babel fish doesn't translate Thai
I think the place looks like a store, but wouldn't bet either way.
Those lenses in post/image 22 are for half frame cameras, right? :D
If that's a store, I now have another reason to want to go to Thailand aside from the food!
Thanks[I think] for the link!
Rob

Do you think he ever looks out the window to see if the postman is coming with a package?

And the 'collector', Mr. Surat O. is a great photographer, too, like I already said at photo.net, I recently saw his exhibition at Westlicht here in Vienna, great classic street-photography.

That is an incredible collection. The Nikon F with 5cm F2 Nikkor-S is very early, just over the 1st 1000 made.

You can tell he is big on Leica, even had a lot of Voigtlanders, but not many Nikon RF's are shown in his collection. An S4 would look great next to that early F.

That would be typical Thai store. Customers would like to sit and have some drink and food while they discuss cameras and prices. If you really want, I can ask my Thai stepmother to translate, or get you something when she returns from Bangkok in September.

You can also see a video camera installed in one of the pics. Unfortunately my written Thai is so bad now that I cannot make out where this store is. My hunch would be Bangkok, of course.

The King of Thailand is a passionate photographer, in case you did not know.

There is a silver Leica-M in one shot with a strange-looking lens on it that resembles a viewfinder screen. What is that ???
