Hewes Developing Reels for 127 Film -New!

Are you selling? I have considered getting a second (I have a vintage Nikor 127). I like the efficiency of doing multiple rolls at once, be they 120, 127 or 35mm, the more the better if the film is the same.

There are a total of 36 new old stock reels available at £19.72 ea. plus shipping. A group buy is preferred. We need to get a list going, first come first served, to see if it is feasible. I am not heading up a purchase... just passing along this fabulous opportunity.

Yep, I use the regular stainless-steel tank they sell at B&H. I doubt the one for a single 35mm reel is tall enough, but the one they sell for two reels is plenty big, as are all the larger ones.
 
Yeah, like Charles I use my regular stainless-steel tanks. The 120 tank works best, as the 127 reel is just a bit shorter than the 120 reel.

***NOTE: We have enough interest to order the first batch! If there are others interested, please wait until we announce a second batch order.

0k! There are 36 reels at the Hewes factory and we have 16-18 earmarked for us in this first batch.

We are halfway through the last remaining inventory at Hewes, an inventory they did not know existed! Today, they are packing this first batch to be shipped and will let me know the shipping costs (from Hewes to me) a bit later so we can figure our individual shares of physically getting the reels from the UK. I will post their information as soon as I receive it.

Charles, Shawn, Emile and Bob please send me a PM today with your shipping address in order for me to calculate your own shipping from me to you.

Glad to see my name is not on that list. I think I'm gonna pass on purchasing one of these reels. Was looking through all my developing reels and tanks this morning, and with the amount of 127 I shoot, I'm gonna be fine with the one reel that I have.

Oh, my apologies if my communications are somewhat confusing, it is difficult to do this given my daily responsibilities.

In summary, these reels are the last 127 film reels at Hewes Products in the U.K. I am purchasing them as New Old Stock with the idea that others want these rare finds. Your cost if you want one or more will be exactly what it costs for me to purchase and have Hewes ship them to me, and then I will ship yours to you at a nominal shipping cost. This is a pass-through purchase for sharing this rare opportunity for our little group here on the forum.

The first batch is ready to be shipped to me.

Final cost and shipping details are in the works and I hope to receive them soon.
