Hexanon gas release

a wider lens would mean you could get closer to the action or use hyperfocal distance for more and better hip shots.

yeah, a 28 is a must...🙂
Get thee behind me, Satan😀

I can do that with the 35:

I do not need more equipment.:bang: :bang: :bang: until I believe that.

Wintoid, keep your 'cron, don't sell your Hexanons. There's nothing wrong with having two lenses of the same focal length. Heck, it even justifies a camera in the future! 🙂

Nice shots Wintoid, congrats on having the complete hexanon-m set 🙂

wait, do you have the 90/2.8? It is petite, beautiful build, and very smooth signature, not surprising.

Not to mention the 50mm f/1.2 and the 21/35 dual Hexanon and that 60mm one, and and and....

The 90 seems to be the easiest to get after the 50, or at least that's my impression. Whilst I love 90 on a film camera, on the RD1s it would be too long for me. Whether I get a 90 probably depends on whether the RD1s manages to completely displace film (which it hasn't so far).

Anyway, no more lenses for me in the foreseeable future. Will be selling the 35 cron, Bronica 645, Yashicamat 124G, Epson 4990, OM4 and lenses and maybe Nokton 40 in the new year. Time to slim it down I think. I only need gear I actually use regularly.

Huh? You planning on making another forum your home?

Seriously, that's the way I'm heading, but it's difficult. Last weekend I was visiting GeneW; he forced a Mamiya 1000DTL on me, with 50/1.8 plus a Zeiss Jena Sonnar 135/3.5. "Try it for a month or two ..." The Sonnar is the attraction, esp. as its close focus is 1 meter, so an M42 body makes sense. Other than that, I need another SLR body like I need a 3rd mother-in-law. Don't ask.

May I lay claim to rights of first refusal on the 35 cron?

Assuming I don't find a nice M-Hexanon 35/2.0 sooner.

Tom,

One person's Slimming Down always leads to another person's Bulking Up! Where does it stop?
