Hexar AF 28mm framelines

On my Hexar AF, the left vertical line of the 28mm frame is not showing; the horizontal lines and the right vertical line are fine, as are all other frames.

Is there anything I can do about this myself ? I bought it like this, so I have no idea about the cause.

I'm sure you mean a Hexar RF because the Hexar AF only has 35mm framelines as it has a fixed 35mm lens.

You're right: my mistake (I own both), and I just now found a message on this forum that seems to indicate it's perfectly normal 😱

Yes, that's normal. If you look you'll see that on top left corner you still have a tiny indicator where the left 28mm border should be.

This is indeed by design. If the frameline should be there it would go through the shutter speed bar that is around the same place. You need to "guesstimate" with the tiny pointer upper left where the 28 mm stops.

Or, buy a 25 mm Biogon and use the whole finder to frame...😀

Hm, I have a CV 25mm. Does that count 😛 ? Great idea: I'll give it a try. One accessory finder less to take with me.
