Inspired by Roland's thread, I want to share some pics from this year's Roskilde festival, one of the largest music festivals in Europe with approx. 100 000-110 000 participants in total. Knowing it was going to be a fair amount of rain and mud, I didn't dare take with me my Ricoh GRD and chose the Hexar AF instead.
Turned out to be a wise choice; it was the wettest Roskilde ever, with Thursday being the most extreme day with continuous rain for about ~20 hours. The camera was soaked many times and half covered with mud, but never complained. This is the one camera that I'll never sell. I just wish I had taken more pictures. But there's always a next year..
These are all Tri-X, straight from Nikon Scan, no post-processing.

That's too funny, I opened the thread and immediately thought 'man, that looks like Roskilde'.

great images anders. that looks like an amazing festival. no way I'd be brave enough to take anything other than a nikonos with that much water around! And look what cool shots i might have missed.

Thanks for sharing that great series. The Hexar AF seems to be a wonderful camera, and that lens ... wow.

Thanks for sharing those, Anders, great photos and it seems you had fun !
The Hexar AF re-incarnation of the Nikkor 35 (also a relative of
the UC Hexanon) is really an amazing lens.
I look at my AFs as (quieter) Leicas with auto-everything, if needed
Roland.
