I have a Silver one and have it programmed for the stealth option. I've never had a focus problem as some of you have. That said I've put only about twenty rolls through it in all the time I've had it. I haven't shot a film for months. Don't know why I haven't used it more really as the lens is as superb as everyone says, is quiet even in normal model and has a kinda Leica look to the results. I had all my gear out last night and was contempating selling some, to fund an M8. My CLE, Nikon D80 and Hexar would have to go.

Also, when I say misfocus I don't mean trying to focus on the eye and getting the chin. I mean trying to focus on the head, and get the wall behind the person

It should be noted that the flashmatic mode was not included on the early version of the camera, but was an optional factory upgrade. I find it to be the most useful feature of my silver version, as I can use a manual flash on it and input the guide number. I don't know any other camera that does that, and the exposures are perfect.
Oh, and I have a silver Hexar for sale in the classifieds

The meter in the hexar is very very good. I've shot slide film with very reliable exposures.

Both of my original black ones do that too. I never tweaked the firmware on them, though it's possible a previous owner did.
