Love the Hexar AF I got at KEH - tried it out and after finding the "correct" way to hold it, I love it! This is from my first roll. I have gotten better since then.

I'm very happy with my Hexar as well. You can see some pictures taken a week or so ago by clicking on the Flickr link in my signature and looking at the "Last Weekend of Summer" set. I used Porta 160NC and the pictures turned out pretty good (at least I think so)...... I'll make some pictures taken with the T2 available soon. Unless I sell it to get another Hexar ; )

Nice bunch of photos, looking forward to the T2 shots. Nice looking Contax, that- hmmmmm, I wonder what they cost.... (Oh No! My wife would kill me)

I may be missing something, but what's the "correct" way of holding the Hexar? Is there a special Hexar grip & stance?
I haven't encountered any problems holding it like every other camera.

You might cover the sensors with your fingers if you're not careful.....

Thanks for the nice comments on Flickr. I really like the look of pictures taken with the Hexar. I am working on my first roll of film in the T2 and will see how they stack up against the Hexars photos.... If I like what I see the T2 will find a home in my camera bag. If not, you will see what I think it will cost in a for sale ad in the rangefinder forum near you..... ; )

I own Gr1 and the Hex AF ampnsgt a few other great top end P&S film cameras. Really like both for different reasons, but both lenses are fantastic. Still want a sonnar in a T though!
DId you get an original black Hex or a later one. If the latter they can easily be owner modified for the silent mode etc - you've probably seen the instructions in this awesome thread. Any camera that can generate this much informed opinion must have something going for it!

Ah yes Frank - and it was your photo in the first RFF book (your current avatar) that clinched my entry to Hexar-land- thanks!
But then you got in just before me on Keith's M5 so I'm still to go there ;-)

I have two Black Hexars and I was thinking about getting a Fuji GA645 but am seriously considering trying to get a Silver Hexar. But that depends on me trading my T2 for one. I'm still shooting my first roll of film in the T2 and will waut to see what the pictures look like. I really like the look of photos from the Hexars. I'll know next week after I finish the roll and have it developed...
