This is making me really miss mine.
I only got a couple of rolls through it, but enough to see and feel that it's special.

I lusted after a Hexar AF pretty much every time 'Filmfan' posted one of his shots, now I've got one I don't use it nearly enough!

I remember those film fan shots, they led me to buy one as well. I didn't get on well with mine, overtime I put it down for a while I would forget how to use it. It is a wonderful camera, but for me to get the most out of it, I would have to use it almost exclusively.

James, you've described my rationale for offering my (second) Hexar AF for sale. It is best when its owner treats it to habitual use, even if it's just for summer, or one intense month a year. I've had a long happy period of acquisitions and experiments with film gear, but the autumn of my life confronts me with a fundamental choice about whether the image/ workflow takes precedence, or the Happy Dilettante dedicated to keeping too many cameras happily snapping. All I have to do is utter the word 'dilettante' about myself and gear to get my desires straight. The rest of life is about making better images, the best possible images, with the gear that makes doing so a pleasure and a preoccupation.
On a related note, Simon, I was recently in contact with Sam aka Filmfan, whose Hex AF work did indeed inspire more than a few of us here. He ain't shooting a Hexar these days ;-(
But we can still enjoy the best work its devotees are producing in this thread.
