Having just returned from the island of Lanzarote I have uploaded some shots taken with my Hexar Silver. They are in a folder named 'Hexar on hols'. This was my 'serious' camera for the trip. I was determined to put some film through as it had been neglected a little since buying it. All shots were taken o Fuji Superia 100 print film, no filters.

Nice series - I was already wondering where they had been taken, and suspected one of the Islas Canarias (been to Gran Canaria and Tenerife myself, loved it - because I stayed away from the tourist trap sections...

Roman, while I enjoy the islands I have to say I didn't manage to get a tan...it was too cold!. Though my pix show it was bright and sunny the wind was a little too cool for sunbathing. I heard that Tenerife had some torrential rain (even we had some heavy showers) and Gran Canaria had some snow!
Well, that 's global warming for you!

Stairs and curves - beautiful! Great photography.
Even some 4by6 drugstore prints from my Hexar jump off the page. Great camera.

You're right there Frank. I had the films printed to 4by6 and put on to CD. The prints are very sharp and do jump off the page. The pix I posted are from the CD scans. I will have to use my Hexar much more I think.
I've still got to get my first roll through my Bess R + 50/2.5 yet and I've got a Bessa L arriving this week and then I'll want a 25/4 Snapshot Skopar and then a...and on..and on ....you know what it's like?

That's true Doug. Cactus aplenty and volcanic ash. Drove through the National Park and there is some excellent landscapes there, volcanos and various groung textures due to the way the molten lava has settled in different ways. Like the surface of the moon! Sadly I was unable to stop to make the best of these locations but recommend it to anyone.
