Hexar Repaint?

Has anyone done a repaint on a Hexar? I was pondering a repaint on another camera and I realized that the Hexar I own is a little rough around the edges...

A repaint might look mighty nice!

Thoughts? Concerns?

Kevin- Is that the RF you're talking about? I have never seen one done personally. They have a bit of a matte finish, interested to see what other responses you get.

Kent, yes, the Hexar RF. I know the top plate / bottom plates can be removed with ease. I'd thought it would be fun to remove all the titanium bits and have them blasted down to their base(s) and then repaint them in a bright color. Red, yellow -- something that screams performance. 🙂

Interesting thought.

Not sure how paint sticks to titanium though. Oh well, apparently even Leica brass can be painted satisfactory enough (according to some, that is) and you can always get a Gold Hexar AF to paint, or a Rhodium, or a Titanium...
