My Hexar RF has a camera-body-colored protective sticker on the bottom plate. It appears as if thought it had been factory-installed. But I've never heard of the Hexar RF having such a sticker from new.. has anybody? I was asked to remove it to reveal the serial number to a prospective buyer but the sticker is so clean, so new, and looks so professionally made, I am not sure I want to try. It is almost metallic to the touch and apparently not at all easily removed.

I have a Classic version and it has a bottom sticker that's either clear or almost clear. It goes on nicely, and I wouldn't remove it from mine.
The SN number is engraved on the side of my camera on the grip side. If I remember correctly, my first Hexar (black version) has the SN on that side too.

Thanks Sunti, I guess I should explain that my sticker is non-translucent, i.e. the SN is covered up and not visible. I suppose that's an indication that the sticker is non-factory..
