Hi guys,
Yesterday (26 Jan) was Australia Day, so after work, I trundled down the centre of Melbourne to have a look at the festivities, and get together with Kris, one of our fellow RFF members. Really good to put a face to the name, we shot some stuff, but it was kinda dissappointing photo-op wise, nontheless, we sat down and had some coffees and beers and chatted about stuff, and messed around with each other's cameras. OMG, the viewfinder and rf patch on the Bessa is just to DIE for! And I think Kris was a bit bemused to find that the diminutive Olympus XA had a self timer, when his big, bad, real honest to goodness RF camera didn't!
Anyway, it was a good evening, we stayed for the fireworks, said good night, and headed home. Photos to follow (when I finish this roll).
Thanks Kris!
Cheers,
Steve
