Newbie
Hey everyone! Newbie here!
I'm a student of AkivaS, who encouraged me to get on this forum. I've been shooting digital since 1998, starting with a Kodak DC220. Have been using Canon SLR's since 2004, starting with the Canon 20D. Switched to Olympus mirrorless (E-M5) in 2014 and very recently started using the Pentax KP. I love prime lenses, especially the 50mm focal length.
I love photographing people, family, and small events. I hope to post some of my photos soon.
I also sell photography equipment, mostly Fuji equipment. I look forward to using the classified section of this website.

Welcome, David. As Akiva said, participate and enjoy yourself.
Your KP has the KAF2 mount, which means you can buy for peanuts some excellent full frame film cameras to use with your lenses. I have the MZ-5 which I bought for the princely sum of USD$4 at a thrift store, and it's a fine camera, very compact, supporting manual and auto-focus lenses and Manual, Shutter-priority and Aperture-priority exposure, with a large exposure compensation dial on the top deck. So if you want to play with film, you can do so for effectively zero upfront cost. Just sayin'...
Cheers,
Lynn
