For my IIIf I have a:

1930s Elmar 5cm f3.5 with VALOO hood
1950s Jupiter 8
VC Color Skopar 35mm f2.5

I have a Leica 5cm finder and a VC one for 35mm

I did have a VC 50mm f1.5 for a short time but it was just too big to be worth it for me.

I like it; time I also got a J8.

Still working on my 4 digit 1(A) converted to 1(C) with no s/no. Elmar 50.

Problem with the lack of film processors in my area.

Leica IIIc body, usually with a 50mm f/1.5 or a 50mm f/2, (Xenon, converted Sonnar or Summitar).

And I usually have a Voigtländer VC-II meter in the accessory shoe.

My Leica iiif RD, like my iif RD, wears a Zhou 1/2 case and a wrist strap, both in black. My 50 cm/1,5 lens by CZJ. It' s one made just after the war. A round, vented silver shade helps with flair,a Walz Sonner filter 85-c c. My 35 mm f=2.8 Canon a tiny little lens and a good partner to the CJZ is usually the second stringer in my bag, still a great lens as needed. A small filter and cone shade are always in the bag at the ready. My viewfinder, a Braun Universal-Sucher works well and easily with both lenses. Pre-cut out of date film is also kept in the bag as I hate trying to do it on a rickety table when I'm pressed for time. It's nice not having to pack when I need to go out. Only thing not packed in my bags are nice sunny days. I enjoy my two Red dials and I'm hoping you all enjoy using your vintage barnacks as well.

My most frequently used camera is the humble Bessa R with the collapsible Summicron 50, or the CV 50 Heliar f/2.

For the Barnack type cameras, I have settled down on the IIIG, usually with the Summicron collapsible. But, I have an LTM 35mm Summaron 2.8 / CV 35 2.5 / CV 28 3.5 which often are mounted on the camera. I prefer the viewfinder of the IIIG with the parallax compensation, and the far easier flash synch settings.

My old III is sporting a 28 Kobalux as my Point and Shoot pairing for the M8 and 35 Summaron.

Sometimes I'll switch it up with a 50 either Summar or as of late Thorium Summicron.

If I'm going to do it the hard way (small RF view windows), I might as well carry the smallest camera I can. For a while I used a Nicca lever wind with a Nikkor, but that's as big as an M3. Now I carry a black Leica IID with a 50mm Hektor, collapsible. Tiny, fits in a shirt pocket, and takes as good a pictures as my M3, I'm surprised to find out.

Hello Red Robin, when you mention the Nikon lenses are they tread lenses, or are the regular Nikon lenses like for the F ?

Recently traded my old 3.5/5cm Elmar for this freshly rebuilt 2.8/5cm Elmar. This lens got a massive treatment from Kanto Camera and its optics now look like a new lens. Service had already been done when I made the trade, but the service receipt listed replacement of front element, and recoating of inner element in the list of repairs done to it...

Lovely. That looks like an incredibly nice copy of the KMZ J3. Seems those are few and far between...

I found that one at Moscow Photos I think it was. It works as well as it looks, and should have German glass being a '51 model. It must have been cleaned and calibrated for Leica focus as it as accurate as a focus-shifting Sonnar can be and flare-resistance is high 🙂
