i came across this on the rojlleiflex...

plate.jpg

the left most and right most numbers are ISO/DIN numbers.

the five columns between the din/iso looks like aperture setting, although the numbers are rated 8 to 15 with non-standard f-stop numbers.

the bottom 2 rows are EV compensation depending on the intensity of the sunlight.

the top 2 pictorial rows are situations.

so where's the shutter speed ?

Aren't they coupled shutters, so that one EV number (the 8-15) is the equivalent of a set of shutter speeds/apertures? Or am I misremembering or misreading?

Cheers,

R.

I've seen a different Rolleiflex exposure guide which incorporated the time of year. This one is very sophisticated.
I have a 2.8C and they have a seasonal one. It changed from earlier models to later ones. My 2.8D has the same as your picture. Of course, between the Cords and the Flexes, there were quite a few different models, so I have no idea how many different iterations of the guide plates there were, in total, and I cannot guarantee the backs of either of my 2.8s are the original factory items.
Regards,
Brett
