Heck, Film Is Not Dead Yet

At least in one Massachusetts town, where the photography shop informs me more folk have realised they really prefer to get "prints in hand" rather than goof with sitting in front of a computer with their digital camera files. Shoot the roll, go shopping, drop off the film and pick up when you finish. Amazing.

I suspect these people are of a "certain age", like me. Besides, Great Barrington isn't exactly mainstream.

Jep, just today. Shot at my favourite pub, went over to the minilab nearby, waited 20 minutes and got my prints with which I went back to the pub.

Just like the old days, get your shots right and you don't need photoshop.

Only difference to your story, I droped off a memory card 🙂

No, that's my usual minilab and I've had film developed and printed there as well.
Digital is a bit faster, no development and scanning required, but that's it.
