Hi everyone (new to RFF)

Hi everyone,

I'm new to RFF and thought I'd introduce myself to the community. I'm Dale, in St. Louis, Missouri. I don't currently have a rangefinder, but have been wanting to try RF photography for a while, particularly for street photography. Am hoping to find some good advice here. My first photos were taken on my father's Yashica Lynx 5000, many moons ago. I recall it being a nice little camera, beautifully constructed (maybe my memory has embellished that a bit?). It's still in the family house somewhere, and I try to find it evertime I'm back there, but no success. I'll very likely just buy a used RF on here so I can see if it's for me.

Welcome to the forum. I had a Yashica 14e, very similar to the 5000, and it is a great camera. Hope you find it!

I'm sure you can coax one or five members to give you a deal on a camera.. a Yashica GSN, Kiev or Zorki, perhaps.. deals come up on a regular basis, so don't worry
