sweathog said:Well, I thought I might share some of my shots, if you don't mind too much. This are some that I took in Easter of '06, whilst spending a couple of weeks in Helsinki (and the surrounding area) visiting family and friends. All are shot on my Hi-Matic F, using Konica VX100 film.
Oletko suomalainen?

On 1/4 suomalainen, mutta en puhuun oikean hyvaa suomeksi. If that made any sense (it's the most Finnish I've 'spoken' in a while).

I am 0% Finnish but I was living there long enough to speak pretty well... I am now in South America and all I do in order not to forget is reading news on the internet and occasionally a book if I can get one...
Anyway, it was just a curiosity...I shall be going there (and to Estonia) in less than two weeks...

Thanks for your photo. What is your subject in the latter two pictures? It's strange how you have cropped the people out. Can you post a picture of you camera? I don't know what those look like.

Estonia's nice. There are no public clocks in Tallin's old town, because when the Russians invaded and wanted Moscow time, the Estonians just took all the clocks down.giellaleafapmu said:I am 0% Finnish but I was living there long enough to speak pretty well... Sirius, here's a picture I got doing a quick Google search. Lovely camera, if a little tall for my liking.

And finally, a couple more shots from Finland.
