Hi everyone,
After so much thinking . . .
I went and ordered an R-D1s!
The M8 is lovely, but the R-D1s is the better deal.
It arrived today fresh! From Map-camera, Japan!
I am so excited.
Perhaps I might just be one of last few buyer able to get his hands a new R-D1s.
Price paid for R-D1s: HK$17,000 inclusive of shipping.
For comparison, price of the M8 is now: HK$35,500.
Almost twice that of the R-D1s.

This camera is a wonderful machine, to be perfect: crop 1:1 or 1:1.3 and 10-12 Mpix and more duration batteries.
