High speed color film

I was not impressed for Portra 800 at all. In a regular C-41 development it is hardly iso 640. You can even better push the Portra 400 to iso 800 with the same or better results which should normally gives less quality then a real iso 800 C-41 film.

I generally prefer Portra800 but I found Natura (which is or is not the same as Neopan1600) not bad the last time I used it. Main difference is probably that Portra looks more red/brown while Natura more pastel/neon like.
I try to overexpose a little, especially with the Fuji.

Same camera and lens combo (same city too):

I have to note that Portra400 (new) doesn't look so bad when underexposed (quite acceptable in MF really)
I've no example at hand right now.

There's a nice comparison of Portra 400 with FujiPro400H here. Essentially, it shows them performing pretty much equally at box speed, but the Portra 400 clearly survives underexposure far better than the FujiPro400H.

I use both those films for medium format and have no complaints. For 35mm I need cheaper film and go with Ultramax 400 and Superia 400 (both exposed at 200) - again I have no complaints about either. I did discover a Superia 800 12 exposure film in my bag of camera batteries yesterday. I have no idea how it got there or how old it is - just the film canister in a plastic container, so no cardboard box with an expiry date. I expect I will try it out when my C-41 chemicals have reached their capacity as a sacrificial film to see if I can go beyond stated capacity.

ISO 400 film hardly is "high speed".... This is Fuji Superia 1600

I haven't any other examples with this, as I haven't tried much more. But this is Superia 800 @ 12800, long push time.

I've got some Konica Centuria 3200 in 120 rolls I have never tried.. I know it probably wont turn out well at all, but I wish I could see what it looks like fresh.

Can you get Natura outside of Japan ?
And, is CineStill only meant for daylight ? (silly question given it's rated 800 but I heard it doesn't fare well at night)

800T is 800 in Tungsten, hence the name
I avoid high speed color film at night because of the white balance issues...
Portra 800 is nice indoors during the day, esp in 120
