Just curious as to what has been found to be the highest possible speed to use with this film. Usually, folks rate it lower than 400, but I'm curious as to whether or not it's possible to goose the ISO a bit. If anyone has high ISO examples I'd love to see them.

Cheers...

Keep it in mind, that these are 6x6 negs, so in case of a 35mm film you will multiply the grain 3 times.

So Costco processing is probably not a good bet at 800?

That is exactly what I do, Rem. I shoot BW400CN @800 at my boys basketball games and have them developed and scanned at Costco. No fancy instructions, no push, just normal processing. Sorry I can't easily post an example, but I find the results to be more than acceptable.

You should definitely give it a try. For my purposes, I find BW400CN @800 to be a better solution than shooting color Fuji Press 800.

Good deal! I shall definitely give that a try, especially now that I have given up on scanning traditional BW film😉
