Has anyone used this kind of adapter?
I'm using one with a 50mm F1.8 in the eos350d but wide open at f1.8 the picture is out of focus .... Any help?

The only FD to EOS adapter (that would preserve infinity focus) that I know of are the ones that were made by Canon themselves. They are, in fact, an intermediary lens similar to an extender. Extremely rare and was not offered to the general public as far as I recall. It was made available to some pro users to help preserve their investment in some of the higher end big Canon guns.

Any Canon FD to EOS adapter you can get nowadays would be like using extension tubes... it would work but not give you infinity focus. The flange to film distance difference between the two systems just won't allow adapters.
