Anyone has any impression to share on the Hirano case on a Nikon rangefinder, in particular on a Nikon SP ?
I use a Luigi's case on my digital M and it is excellent but it costs considerably more than a Hirano, which sells for USD151.

I only have their cases for some of my Contax IIa & Leica "Barnack" bodies that have dodgy strap lugs (unlike a lot of other cases, the Hiranos have their own strap lugs). I can't compare to a Luigi case as I've never had 1, but the Hirano quality seems to be very high, certainly comparable to vintage cases.

I received my Hirano case today. I must say it is a disappointment. Both the quality of the leather and the workmanship in general are far behind those that are made by Leicatime. The only consolation that I get is that for the Nikon SP, I prefer the "square cut" used by Hirano compared to the "curve cut" used by Luigi.
If I were to decide again, I will cough out the extra dollars and go for Luigi.
