Yes , Please post more C ...
Love the oof against the Sharp Focus in the 2nd shot
First shot adore the gritty tonal range in the building facade & wires

Thinking about getting this cam to bring me out of my Creative Slump ...

Helen not sure if this camera will cure your photographic blues ,but certainly worth a try . You are an excellent photographer, can't see this camera would slowing you down any . Well maybe in the beginning as there are a lot of button combos to learn ,easy to forget where your at . I'm on my second day and I'm still getting lost in all the options :)

Tomorrow hopefully will bring some interesting images ,got the whole day to ride the train to wherever .............

Shiro curious: were these shot in the x100s B&W film options or converted afterwards? RAW or JPEG? Last- not sure if you used the x100 before, is the menu/OK button been improved in user interaction? also, how do you like the images on the xtrans sensor on the 100s versus the non-xtrans sensor on the x100? Personally I think the x100 sensor becomes unique specially if one owns the XPro1, you'll have both out put.....nice work & thank you...

^here's some pro and cons that someone has been updating with their X100s
http://www.briankraft.com/Blog/personal/fuji-x100s-pros-and-cons/

but the looks from all those that got to play with the x100s is that the OK button has been slightly raised making it easier to click.
however I'm not that overly excited about the battery info and heavy noise reduction that the x100s does on high ISO but maybe more testing will need to be done.

regarding to the OPs photos, thanks for sharing them! all great!

I have not used the X100 so I can't really compare the two .....
The M8 has been my main camera for awhile and the difference in look is something I will have to get used to on the monitor .... The files on the x100s are simply amazing at higher ISO ...... It really will come down to how the prints look ...The M8 did not disappoint and I'm sure this camera will not either ...

The menu/ok button is fine ... The command dial is not so great but it seem you can use the command control in it's place .... I only found this to be a problem when in the Q menu where it would be natural to use your thumb to change the selected settings ... I end up having to press harder to get a grip on the wheel which would in turn cause a press , activating adjacent menus and causing changes where not intended... spending time figuring out what was changed and resetting ........not an issue if you use the command control instead ....

Thank you for the reply and yes the fuji's high ISO performance is quite impressive but looking forward to hearing your opinion of the print quality versus the M8.... enjoy your new tool! sterno

"The camera uses Lens Modulation Optimizer to reduce optical effects such as lens diffraction, which occurs when light passes through a lens. Even when stopped down to F16, the X100S retains sharpness and texture in the smallest details, demonstrating the extent of the sensor and lens combination's capabilities, perfectly."
