Historic Pensacola With A FED2

Good work! But with such a beautiful model, I'm not surprised I particularly liked the "Part of a locomotive at the Museum of Transportation" photo!

Pretty good pictures except that on a few of them you seem to be having the same problem I have with a FED, holding the camera level.

The viewfinder is rather dim in this particular FED2 camera, and the flash bracket/holder would not hold either my VC viewfinder or the one by Leitz. I had to guess what would show up in the photo with the 25/4 and the 35/1.8 that was mostly used.

I noticed that Raid had trouble remembering the name of the FSU lens. Was this an industar 26 or 61? It doesn't roll off the tongue like Zeiss or Canon does it?

I've could burned a couple of rolls walking through the tent at Greek Fest, but I bet you were working at a disadvantage by having to keep an eye on a three year old. She needs a small, used, non state of the art digital. Trust me, she'll dig it.

Nice to see everyone alive and well in Pensacola.

Hi Andrew:
It is the Industrar 61 lens. I had to watch both Dana (2.5) and Lina (1) throughout the festival. I wish I had more time to take photos as I did in the past, but I am balancing between being a father and taking care of a hobby.
Take care.

Raid

What! No pictures of Lina! You can't fall into the "lots of pictures of no1 followed by just a few of no2!"

Nice pictures, brings back a lot of fond memories of Pensacola.

I'll bet number 2 will edge her way into the frame within a year or two. Sibling rivalry, you've got to love it. Raid is doing pretty good with two happy wanderers in tow. I do like the idea of giving an inexpensive digital to children. You never know, you might get a few keepers before the camera breaks.

I will look for a cheap digital camera for Dana. She already has a fake camera (with Japanese recorded words). Whenever I use my camera, she uses her camera.
