THANK you, Frank. This is something I have never seen and read before. So interesting, I have to read all of it, it will take some time.

Was surprised to see Russian dance teaching by British lady.
Interesting time frame, feels like I'm reading Sony co-founder book from first pages again.

Decades ago, the Navy ship I was stationed on made a trip to Sasebo Japan. After visiting with a Japanese gent, he was able to write notes in Japanese so as I could take a bus to Nagasaki.

I spent a day photographing the city and I still have the slides. Maybe someday I will scan some of them.

We must be on the same wavelength, as last night I was perusing post-war Japan documentary Youtube videos for some strange reason.

BTW, the fellow with the Rollei TLR and Contax II around his neck in that B&W USS Missouri photo is photographer Carl Mydans.
