Hitler and Nikon - History and Photography

@keith - internal problems persist elsewhere though. russia / georgia recently and sudan in africa. even zimbabwe to a certain degree. zimbabwe used to be the richest country in africa. and now a dictator, not so long ago celebrated as a freedom fighter and an african hero, has sucked it dry.

Smedley Butler was hired by capitalists to topple the US government and replace it with a fascist one.
he ratted them out instead.

War also begets change in a hurry.
the Europe of 1918 was different to the one in 1913.
the Europe of 1945 was different to the Europe of 1938

I was thinking that as I added the previous post, but didn't mention it. The movie "The Corporation" briefly covers this incident, including footage of Butler.

How about thousands of Polish officers killed one by one by shot in back of head by Russians in Katyn? They were claiming for decades (russians) that Naziz did it.

PS. I don't defend Germans at all as I'm Polish myself, but there's other side of story. Russians were not saint you know ;)

Who said that I said that? Stalin was in his own way every bit as much a monster as Hitler. Effectively diguised I suppose by the fact that he happened to be on our side in the war. My point was simply that Russians lost millions of people due to Hitler's actions. No one pretends that they were individually saints or that their system of government was anything less than a disaster for most people who were forced to submit to it. And yes I realise the truth of Katyn - there is a memorial to this around the corner from where I live.
