Hitting a ball with a bat the size of a pencil!

Hello Everybody who so kindly replied. I stand corrected.

I have installed it on two computers. I still think that the user interphase is poor and restrictive. I dont want my files being automatically downloaded to the disk on my computer, but to the hard disks I have attached. I also find the layout poor. All that said, I stand corrected. The phase one is very good, once you get the hang of it, even the light version. Also people at Phase One are very helpful. So thanks for all your comments, apart from the sarcastic and I qoute "It is very possible. I don't know what you're doing, or don't know what you don't know that would allow us to know what you're doing. But it is very very very very very (did I say very?) possible to install and use the same registration on another computer. Very possible. I don't think that this is Leica's or Capture One's fault, but the user's." We are a comunity of photographers, some less experienced or as bright as others. Shouldn't we be helpful and informative and guide and help each other? Maybe I am mistaken.

But to everybody else who replied, thanks I have found your help and comments useful.

Raw Conversion Programs -- Which?

Raw Conversion Programs -- Which?

Eriwin Puts uses Bibble Pro to convert the DNG raw pictures to black and white pictures.
I have been using this with my R8 and Digital back.
Maybe we need a survey on conversion programs.

While I trust Puts for lens evaluation, I would not go to him for aesthetic advice, which is where I would place color to black and white conversions. In general, I think photoshop has much more sophisticated tools for color to black and white conversion than any raw converter.
