I just purchased a diopter from HK supplies. This guy Laurence and his staff are good!. Instant answer to e-mails, less than a week delivery, excellent product. They are on my favorite sellers list.
By the way, using the diopter is great. I didn't realize how much better a Leica finder could get till I took off my glasses. Stu

Is this the guy in Hong Kong (HK supplies...duh)? He certainly has some very interesting equipment. I have been hesitant to send off money to HK. Do they still not accept credit cards or paypal?

I'd get a diopter as well, but they don't make them for legally blind bats. But I did order a 1.25 magnifier from them and, yes, service was prompt and communications were friendly.

I've bought from Poon at HK Supplies and found him to be very reputable. Hong Kong Post to the US is about as fast as domestic UPS.

Occasionally there are some incredible deals in Hong Kong as that seems to be where manufactures dump their excess. Some items are about the same price as in the US. But sometimes you will find real bargains. Several years ago I bought a NIB 21mm Biogon (Contax G mount) from Poon for $616. They are around $1,100 at B&H, used on E-Bay for around $800.

I have bought alot of gear from them. Very reliable and delivery to the US is faster than most domestic dealers. Usually great prices, too.
