Thanks, Freakscene. True, it is an outlier but easy to get used to. I find it especially useful in an urban environment. It's relatively compact and lightweight which is a big plus on an SL body. The build quality of the lens is excellent as is the image quality. Some shooters find the Sigma Contemporary lenses a bit too 'clinical' but I am not one of them. Who knows, perhaps I'll add the equally odd Sigma 2.8/45 to the mix. Cheers, OtL

Once again, I must express my admiration for your pictures. I've since been to Vietnam, including Ho Chi Minh City.
It was marvellous, except the humidity.
