Holga-120Pan

Looks surprisingly good for a Holga -- the vignetting is also quite minimal.

BTW, did they fix the lightleak issue, are you just lucky to not have any and/or were in posession of a large roll of duck tape :)

Rogier, thanks for the pics (the second one is gorgeous!).
I'm curious about this particular Holga.

my understanding is its a single f stop at 133??!! i dont really even quite understand that....
I think you might be thinking of the pinhole version that's been around for a while. This is the lensed version; I would assume that it's probably got an aperture of f8 like the original Holga.

Do not confuse the new Holga-120Pan with the Holga 120 Pinhole!
This one has a 60mm lens and two apertures of approximately f13 and f19 with a single shutter speed of approximately 1/125 or B...

oh, thank you, i was indeed mistaken. i did not know of the pano, only the pinhole. wondrful pictures. i will check it out because i have been wanting to try a 6x12, but have not been willing to spend $800...

i actually just went on holga site and saw this was a 90mm lens with 1/100 SS, and a 'sunny' or 'cloudy' setting. i assume its the same one?

Yes that must be the one.
Sorry for my type

I'm still undecided between the new 6x12 Holga and the Harman Titan 4x5 pinhole cone. Hmm... decisions, decisions...

I've heard the Harman Titan pinhole sells like hot cakes. Maybe I'll pick up the Holga first and play wait and see with the Harman. Maybe they'll introduce a 8x10 version...

I tried pinhole, and I find it to be a bit too fuzzy to me, both result and execution.

I'd like to have a more concrete correlation over where I'm pointing at with the final image :)

So looks like this new Holga is the way to go if I'm going into panoramic. Actually what I really wanted to do is to replace the lens with a 4x5 lens with a real shutter.

I hear you about pinhole photography. I have a Zero 69 its a difficult camera to create images with.
Looking forward how you mount a real lens and shutter on it.

Contemplating to swab the 90mm stock lens with the 60mm from a regular Holga.

Rogier, I would be surprised if the 60mm produces big enough circle of image to cover 6x12. I'm afraid that you'd end up with massive vignetting, that's why I am going with a 4x5 lens. An old Wollensak/Tessar 135mm from a Speed/Crown Graphic should produce a nice, crisp negative (or slide).
