Paul hit the nail on the head, work before you eat lunch, otherwise lethargy sets in and no one trips a shutter release afterward!:p Or, a hearty breakfast and THEN shoot!

How about a "Shoot and Eat"/ "Eat and Shoot" in December?:)

Time? Location?

Hey Dave--maybe we ought to travel South for a change.
Give all of you "South Atlantans" a driving break.
What's down your way?
We could leave early from "up here..."
Or---if that's not convenient--we could meet at the diner and go from there..
Paul

Nah, nothing of interest on my side of town.

However, we can do something different. We can go with an interesting location for photography (ie-street/old buildings/trains/etc.) anywhere.

Or, we could do a theme such as seasonal photography, nighttime holiday lights, holiday event, or whatever.

Or, we could do a travelling RFF meet within 4 hours of Atlanta so others in the southeast could join us. Are ya listening paulfish, Raid, and many others? Asheville, N.C./Savannah/Pensacola/Birmingham/other suggestions?

How about some ideas from everyone as I would love to hear some creative ideas.;)

Asheville!
Now there's an idea.
The Biltmore is a little pricey to get into, but there's always the Grove Park Inn..etc etc.
Great ideas...

I will keep my eyes on this thread and see what develops.

Holiday season can be tough w/ little ones and their priorities. That said, I *promise* to exchange contact info should I be able to make it! :(

i might be interested. high school wrestling season is about to start, and the bride will be tied up with that most weekends, perhaps leaving me free ...

Don't care about any Biltmore house. Once in a lifetime was enough for me, besides downtown Asheville looks to happening. Good photo op's downtown.

Greg--agree with you on d'town Asheville--lots of art deco stuff there.
I still want to take the behind the scenes tour and the roof tour at the Biltmore.
Lots more rooms opened since I was last there.

Oh yea! I forgot about that. I think now you can stay the nite in a room. Watch the roof though Paul, it looks mighty steep.;):D

I'm itching to get out and shoot, but I don't get back from China until mid-month. I have a few new toys to try out (sort of early Christmas presents). :)
