She seems very proud holding Leica, I think.

The shot was more out of anger than anything. She was going around pushing her stupidly large kit into everyones faces. I thought to hell with it, its time for your own medicine, unfortunately i was using a leica IIIc so nobody saw it anyway

I took a walk through Schönower Heide, a few km northern of Berlin. An ex military exercising area, now left in peace
Funny how most women passing by either don't look at all or try to look into your eyes, while most men passing by stare at your right hand trying to find out what's that shiny thing

I tried to work on a Canon IIf (ltm bottom loader) with a sticky shutter, but gave up when I realized I wasn't sure about what to adjust or lubricate. After reassembling the camera, I couldn't get the shutter to stick at any speed! So I loaded it with Fuji 200 colour neg and went for a walk. I then had the film developed and scanned to cd so I could practice some photoshop. The first two (before & after) were taken using a Serenar 50/3.5. The second two with an ex-moderator Serenar 28/3.5. The blue sky has horizontal lines that only appear after resizing and compressing for posting. More practice needed.

Try using Irfanview (a free application) to resize your photos instead of Photoshop.

I use Irfanview most of the time. The 'sky' was added in photoshop and then the image duplicated and resized and compressed for posting using Irfanview. There may be some conflict between the two applications.

I really like Roberts shots of Schonower Heide. Did you use HP5 or XP2 ? I`m amazed at the flare control of these older lenses, although I already have an M3 & M4-P, I`m leaning towards a 111c or 111f. This could end up being very expensive.

Nice shot. Is this with a flash? If so, great use of it, if not, great lighting.

Lovely colors on these shots. The Serenar 28/3.5 is a fantastic lens.

No flash, but there was a good bit of natural light from a large window.

Thank you, Dfin! It was Fuji Neopan 400 and taken with a 1950 Summitar at f/4 (the second one maybe f/5.6, I don't remember exactly). Happy new year!

These are from a house that I came across a few years back and people that own it keep decorating it like this every year. These were shot with my IIIf and a russian ZK 50/2 (Sonnar copy) lens on a Fuji Superia ? 400 print film. I think it was at 1/30 sec wide open. Came out Ok, I think. I looked kinda funny with my IIIf there, while everyone else had thier digicams out.

Sample from 28th Oct RFDR forum UK reg canal boat outing in Brum. Alvechurch is a quaint old place mentioned in records before the doomsday book, - just south of Birmingham.
The Zorkiness is a f3.5 at 1/60 and f/5.6, the film Fuji 50 asa, the insert is from the sign post, the scanner is a flat bed and just breaking up. Gremlins the insert is just off frame oh dear... I'll have to repost later...
Life has stopped for the two moterists who are having a long conversation about something, oblivious of the other traffic - not road rage, just olde worldy gossip.

Not so new now.
I'll be developing a roll later tonight, taken almost entirely of my father, in his apartment, as he told us stories from his youth (he's 85). I used my old Leica with a 50 Nokton, TriX at 1600. I have no other gear that could have done this without disturbing him with either noise (SLR) or light (flash), and once focused, I just took pictures as the spirit moved me. Cool camera.
I sure hope they came out..
