So I have a bag or two. Some I like. Others... MUCH, much less so. And I keep asking these latter to take a walk on the wild side, but they seem to stick around. It's like there should be an exchange program where you can give them a good home, get rid of your cast off and get "points" toward acquiring someone else's cast off that maybe you'd like to try.

What do you guys do to get rid of the wayward bag or three?

I watch the bag threads in my various photo forums.
I just sent an unused impulse buy to a fellow member.

But there are plenty more where that came from.
Maybe we can offer bags for trade in this thread?

A couple of boxes in our storage with unused ( not unwanted ) bags. Several years back I gave a bunch away to the goodwill and wrote them off on our taxes. Selling is fine and I've sold my share, but some don't sell or their size is difficult to find a box for ( my Dome F2 if you wanted the padded bottom piece ).

I cycle through my various bags for different assignments. They each have their strengths and weaknesses.
I also have a Newscorp vest that sees occasional service. Mainly public crowd work or formal paid shoots.
For me they have a bit of wear before use so I use them in my job to haul technical gear and tools before being used for camera gear.

And I'm always on the look out for my next acquisition. I never thought a bag could be so important to me. 🙄
