This guy isn't going to make these (for sale), is he? I have a price point for something like this and its not the same as the JOBO's I see locally.

I caved. Emailed him, not as crazy as I expected..
Hes working out some small details, should be ready to go in about a month, he will build them on order, takes about a month to complete. around 2000euros....

2000 EUR is actually nothing in comparison to a recently introduced *******ized Jobo knock-off that goes by the same price.

I was wondering about that too...and with all those moving parts I wonder how robust the product is.

Me too Ray, I'm going to ask him about the agitation, see if he's ran into any issues. In terms of reliability, other than the pumps, I do t think there's any more to it. As long as they are good industrial pumps, I don't see it failing..

All large pro dip-and-dunk systems used nitrogen burst agitation - gas bubble agitation is excellent and very consistent. These systems needed to protect the replenished developer from oxidation, but for a system like this where the developer can be used one-shot, bubbling air through won't cause any more oxidation than manual agitation. It looks pretty good.

Yes, I don't think oxidation will be an issue for home users even though this arrangement would prevent me from using E-6 chemistry as one-shot. With rolling agitation (like Jobo) you can do 2 135 rolls with 250ml and then discard it.
