Just a quick, unimportant, question, as I've had no luck Googling.

Hoods for these lenses mount on the lens rather than screw into the filter ring. Does this mean I could add and remove filters with the hoods on? Or would it be a bit fiddly?

The ZM25 hoods (there are 2 for this lens one 21/25 the other 25/28) bayonet mount easily. Filter changes are something I've never tried with the hood on, will go try it shortly, but the hood removal is so simple I just pop it off.

I started with the 21/25 hood and switched to the 25/28 for my 25 lens as I found the square 21/25 took up too much of the VF on the .58 M7- I find the whole .58 VF acts as a darn good frameline, if not quite so 'RF-like'.

Just pulled out the 25 and when the hood is mounted the inside face of the hood is perfectly flush with the ring of a B+W filter. No grip on the filter is possible.

I'd guess you'd get more comfortable handling the hood- remember how loading an M was at first?
