So I recently acquired an old Horseman 970 together with the 180mm F5.6, since the camera only came with a roll film back I’m stuck for the moment with using the rangefinder for focusing and the finder for framing. The finder as two framelines but I am not sure for which focal lengths they should be used. Is there any one that can shed som light on the subject?

One of them would be for 105mm, which is the standard lens for 6x9

Thanks for that, then considering the difference in size of the finder frames it would make most sense that the smaller one is for the 180mm.
One thing I should have thought of earlier was to compare the finder frames with the ones in the Mamiya Universal I have before asking :bang:
But having done that, comparing the 150mm frame in the Universal and the smallest frame in the 970 I can confirm that in the latter, the smallest frame is most certainly for the 180mm. So if anyone else is wondering, now you know.
