Horseman 985 rangefinder

Hi all,

Does anyone know if the rangefinder on the horseman 985 will work or can be
made to work with lenses other than the horseman lenses? I want to put some
modern glass on one but I might not bother if I can't use the rangefinder.

it should work fine as long as you have the correct cam for a given focal length.

If i recall correctly, the Horseman 985 had a dedicated series of Horseman/Topcor lenses, and they were the only lenses that had cam coupling to that camera...

All other lenses had to be focus via groundglass I think... I'm not entirely sure. Sorry.
