I took one for a test drive a while back but found the "jaggies" around the pixels too obvious and didn't buy.
 
I think some sort of anti-shake mechanism would help. I would get frustrated with partial image loss. Of course you would have to be able to override the anti-shake mechanism.
 
We just got one for our son. According to the box, he's about two years too young for it, but he likes to turn the knobs on the radio, so we figured it was a more useful way of channeling that impulse.
