I've been using my sekonic l508 up until now when using my fuji gw690, but it tends to slow things down a bit particularly for a grab shot. I've been wondering about a hot shoe mounted meter. From my researching on the forum and the web the popular choices seem to be the Gossen digisix, the sekonic L208 or the Voigtlander vc meter . Each seem to have their own foibles according to reviews I've seen on line, just wondering if owners could give me their thoughts on these meters and which one is best

I own the Sekonic, and have owned the Digisix. I prefer the Sekonic user interface better than the digital Gossen one, but it you are at all concerned about precision in setting the iso, the setting dial on the Sekonic is tiny, with limited ability to accurately set intermediate values between 100, 200 etc. And you can unintentionally move the iso setting fairly easily. Have not used the VC, but it seems like it is in a different price class.
