I really would like to see if anyone knows anything about this. I also have an older Zeiss Ikonta I could use it with.

My knowledge is limited and I have had limited success on ebay, heck I searched the medium format megasite for "rangefinder" and got no results 🙁

I have had limited success with this camera as I am a bad estimator of distances I guess! 😕

If anyone can provide me with a link here on this site or the exact name of the device I would really appreciate it!

Thanks in advance,

Bill Mcdonald in socal 😀

There is actually an Agfa rangefinder that goes on the shoe, but I can't reall its name.

The one I have is an Accura rangefinder. It appears one-Bay from time-to-time.

Bill,

Lots of companies made them in the days before coupled rangefinders built into the camera became the style. Here's one that is often seen on eBoy:

Here's another:

The easiest search is for "auxiliary rangefinder," although not all sellers know enough about them to list them that way. So, if you're wanting one, you might look up some of the brand names and search for them that way.

Prazisa, Telex, Ideal and Voigtlander come to mind. Not all are still good after all this time, and nearly all of them are squinty things, so bear that in mind. Still, much better than nothing!

Best Regards,
