I'm thinking of buying an M6 with the .58 VF. I like to use wide angles (currently a CV 35/2.5 and hopefully a nice 28 soon). I'm a glasses wearer, so I figure the wider magnification will allow me to see those wide frame lines with better ease.

My question though is regarding the 50mm framelines in the .58 VF. How small is it? As a point of reference, would it be close to the size of the 75mm frame in the Bessa R (that's my current RF)? I suppose if the 50mm frameline in the .58 is too small I could get an eyepiece magnifier... assuming that would do the trick?

Any wisdom or advice would be much appreciated.

TIA

I think you are about right with comparing 75mm lines on Bessa with 50 on M6 .58.
If this is any help - Hexar RF which is .6, so close to M6 .58, has 50mm lines that are similar to M3 90mm or 75mm on m6 .72.
