If your camera has a graflok back, it's really easy.

Do what he does, except put your 120 back on and push inwards on those sliver tabs on the top and bottom of the camera. That will hold it on.

it seems about an inch or so short of height and seems too small to fit....
have removed focusing glass and there's just no way it can seem to fit on

You need a Sinar/Horseman 2x3 roll-film to 4x5 Graflock back adapter. I don't know of any available on the market, it might have to be custom made.

That looks like one that was design for the horseman 2x3 folding cameras. Btw I use one on my graflex xlsw since it has the 2x3 universal grafloc back on it.
U need to get a 4x5 roll film back. The other approach is a slide in 4x5 style like the calumet 6x7.

There are versions for 6x6, 6x7, 6x9 all the way up to 6x17 if u want to pay the price.

thanks the parts are cheap -- keh and igorcamera have them --- anyone need this back and want to trade? I'm certain i could throw in a few things for the 4x5 rollfilm back - brand unimportant

I would just return it or trade it, and get one designed for use on a 4x5. They are more common and probably even less expensive than the one you have. Horseman, Wista or Linhof are all good.
