How Do I Make Positives From B&W Negatives?

I have been given hundreds of 6x9 and 4x5 B&W negatives from my grandparents.

I have an Epson 750V PRO scanner.

What's the simplist program to use for production of positives to print photos?

Epson Scan ? or Vuescan but you have to pay for that. Epson Scan is easy to use and reasonably good.

Scan them as black-and-white negatives. The scanning software will invert them.

There's a free trial version of VueScan.
