$16 + shipping. I've bought two Zorki 4s in the past and paid more than that for both. I think you did good. If it works well, I think you'll enjoy it. Not to worry much over the color - if you get tired of it, it can be changed. I've purchased other items from that seller, rosso20, and was very pleased. He delivered promptly and the items were just as he described.

The camera looks decent, the seller's feedback is OK, and $16--what's not to like?
I had not run across this seller before and just added him/her to my "favorite sellers" list! Thanks for posting this,Heronop2003!
Blue color might or might not be original--it is a nice color anyway.
I would ask the seller if there is a takeup spool(and to include one if there's not) and then enjoy!

Effort has been expended on outer appearance. Check mechanical functions carefully. If not "in good working order" complain. I had that happen [not with this seller] and got an exchange in short order. Just a comment.

the color of the body looks fine.. the lighting that he used just makes it look champagne color, but I'm sure it's really silver.. seems like a pretty nice deal to me

I think this is the seller that I talked my brother into buying from and his camera is a nice FSU camera...

Just to be safe, I would send the seller an e-mail before he ships it to confirm that a film take up spool is included.
If you get tired of the color, you can get some new leather for it here:

@ Johne:

When you complained about your purchase and got a replacement, did you send the faulty camera back, and if so, did the seller refund your postage?
I have very recently received a Kiev-4a from the very same seller heronop2003 is talking about (i.e. rosso20), and this Kiev is a bit of a lemon: shutter curtain drags at 1/10 and lower, back of the camera doesn't come off, but in several places the leatherette does...

I have dealt with Russo20 with no problems. Be aware Zorki 4s did not come from the factory in any color but chrome with black body covering. Some of the earlier ones (1956 to aaround 1960) had vulcanite covering and were engraved. Later Z4s and Z4Ks had a nylon mesh covering and numbers and lettering were painted rather than engraved. If the camera was used a lot by the previous owner the shutter speeds have sometimes rubbed off. Any all black Zorki 4 or and Z4 any other color was modified by the seller or someone else. That doesn't necessarily mean the camera was checked over mechanically. Just means they painted it.

I checked the seller's feedback because I was interested in some watches he had for sale. 8 neutrals and 2 negatives in the last 6 months is too high for me. Check out this "rare" Lubitel http://cgi.ebay.com/270-Lubitel-166...Z7535701963QQcategoryZ710QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem . The WLF looks like it's been damaged but it's hard to tell because of the placement of the neck strap in the image.

The auction ended on 8-8 and the images from the listing are already gone. The seller left the buyer his 5th positive feedback. The buyer hasn't left feedback for the seller yet, so the camera is probably still in the mail.

I don't know about you guys, but whenever I have ebay images uploaded to my server, I leave them there until the buyer gives me positive feedback. Removing the images from the listing before the buyer has had a chance to compare the item to the images is unethical in my opinion!
